NICE UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL FRANCE

Nice University Hospital (CHU Nice) is a public institution and the leading provider of general hospital services for nearly a million and a half people in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.

With a capacity of 1900 beds and short-stay places and 7900 qualified health professionals, CHU Nice provides comprehensive, state-of-the-art services organized around its ambulatory care unit, full or weekly hospitalization, short-stay, post-acute care, rehabilitation and long-term care.

CHU Nice groups eight specialised and complementary sites located between the cities of Nice and Tende (5 hospitals and 3 structures of health-care cooperation) dedicated to the care of complex medical conditions in 15 hubs of activity.

CHU Nice’s three core missions are:

  • high-quality patient care (diagnostics, prevention, and education),

  • training (medical and paramedical training),

  • world-class research and innovation (advancing medical and pharmaceutical sciences).

At an international level, CHU Nice participates in several European and International programs. Thanks to its advantageous location on the Côte d’Azur, CHU Nice benefits from multiple cross-border agreements and has signed international partnerships with more than 20 countries.

CHU Nice’s main objective in “Santé+” Project is to work on a repository of activities and skills and a repository of professional certification for the function of GQSRS. More specifically, this work consists in linking each function to an activity and a task and also with the required skills.

CHU Nice works closely with Université Côte d’Azur (P2) to share materials and provide a relevant work on quality specialists’ education and skills.
