Outcomes

Beyond the tangible results which are described in detail in the implementation part and in the intellectual productions, the project plans to work on a federating theme which interests all the stakeholders of the project. This project will consolidate the development of national partnerships between the various actors: companies in the medical sector that wish and must improve the quality of their services by qualifying their staff, the social partners who defend the employability of people, and training organisations that must adapt their training to the needs of health professionals. This will allow a decompartmentalisation between the different professions in the health sector, but also a rapprochement with the training organisations.

At European level, all countries share the same observation of the global challenge of managing the quality of care and health risks, but all countries are mobilising in different ways. The co-construction of a training offer between France, Greece and Romania will oblige the partners to reflect on their own practices. The new certification, developed in accordance with the national and European frameworks (EQF), will facilitate the recognition of skills and competences and will allow flexible and secure pathways.

In addition, it should be noted that the new training offer created :

  • Contribute to the goal of the CSU because quality of care, especially patient safety, is a key element of global health security and quality health services contribute not only to preventing human suffering and ensuring healthier societies, but also to improving the human capital and health of economies.

  • Be part of strengthening and promoting people's confidence in their health systems.

  • Develop a culture of quality among health workers at all levels.

Finally:

  • Medical professionals (doctors, nurses, paramedics, local health workers, care coordinators and managers of health care facilities) will be convinced that their activities require new skills and therefore new adapted training.

  • Trainers will become aware of the need to adapt their training programmes and teaching materials.

  • Medical companies and professional organisations in the medical sector will have the assurance that their needs for qualified personnel to carry out their activities in the professions impacted by the management of the quality of care and health risks have been taken into account. They will have new tools for managing jobs and skills to improve their positioning and professionalism in the field of quality and risk management in health care.

  • The funding bodies will have the assurance that the system is suited to the needs of the medical sector thanks to: the participation of the professional organisations concerned, the quality of the curriculum developed in accordance with the EQF and the Bologna process, the involvement of specialised training bodies

  • Employees of companies in the medical sector will be able to broaden their field of competence and have a more transversal and complete vision of their interventions. They will improve their employability and mobility by taking into account the new constraints of their profession.

  • For all participants, it will be a wonderful experience of decompartmentalisation of their activities and ways of thinking in a new framework of reflection imposed by the competency-based approach, the EQF, the Bologna process and the challenges of managing the quality of care and health risks.
